The northern half of Jeju Island is also known as Jeju City. This is where you will find Downtown Jeju and the scenic towns of Aewol and Gujwa. Jeju Airport is located in Downtown Jeju, and you can get around easily by public transportation once you arrive. There are also many shopping options and restaurants to check out, similar to the major cities in South Korea. It is also easy to rent a car from the airport to start exploring east and west Jeju.
